Rendra offers a free tier to get started and a Pro plan for production workloads. All plans are billed monthly via Stripe.

When you exceed the per-minute rate limit, requests return 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header (in seconds). Implement exponential backoff in your client.

When you reach your monthly image limit, requests return 402 Payment Required with a message explaining that you've exhausted your allocation for the month.

Upgrade programmatically via the API, or manage your subscription through the Stripe billing portal.

Managing Your Subscription

Access the Stripe billing portal to update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel your subscription.

Downgrading

You can downgrade from Pro to Free at any time via the billing portal. Your Pro plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free tier limits.

When does my usage reset?

Usage resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month, regardless of when you signed up.

Is there a free trial for Pro?

The Free plan itself serves as your trial — you get 50 images per month at no cost. Upgrade to Pro when you need more volume.

What happens if I go over my monthly limit?

Generation requests will return 402 Payment Required until the next reset period or until you upgrade your plan.

Do unused images roll over?

No — unused images do not roll over to the next month.

How do I get an invoice?

Invoices are automatically sent to your registered email after each successful payment. You can also download past invoices from the Stripe billing portal.
